Happy Chinese New Year

This is my first year not going back to my hometown and I went Genting with my dear's family. It's a memorable trip. Every year I'll go back to my hometown which is Pantai Remis. This year is the special one.

Besides, I went into casino. This is my first time been there.
Finally I'm no longer underage. HaHaHa
Btw, I'm gambling there as well, and we won RM50 each, with my dear. xD
You can see different types of people inside casino. Some of them even don't need to sleep just because of they want to gamble. LOLx
Anyway, it's fun. That's the way Uncle Lim makes money!!

I went in outdoor at the first day only. I wanted to buy 2 days ticket, but they are not allowed because they said these days whether is not good. Once you bought the ticket, it is not refundable. That's what I'm worried about!
Therefore, I only get one day ticket.
BUT, I still went in at the second day, because my dear's family was applied for the Genting outdoor card which allowed you to go in for the whole year without charges.
I borrowed her brother's card and I went in!! The guy does not checking me and I just went in like usual. HaHa...FREE LUNCH!! xD
Anyway, we were went in for a while and we came out again due to too many people are waiting and I feel like wasting time there to queue for 30 minutes and play for 5 minutes.
Anyhow, it's free. That's fine! xD

Such a nice trip with my dear's family. Thanks to her parents bring me along to Genting and I enjoy with them very much :))

I bang my dog "Rainbow" when I was reversing my car yesterday...
He died because of my carelessness!!!!! I knew I made my family and dear sad, I feel so sorry about that. Because of my careless, I make the mistake and that's because of me!!!
So sorry RAINBOW...I'll miss you always. Although you are naughty but you bring a lot of happiness to us. I miss you so much....
I've don't know what can I do to compensate the accident, I feel so guilty. T.T

At last, Rest In Peace RAINBOW.
You are always in my heart.

WoW, such a busy week for me. I shoot 6 album in a week! I'm ROAR!!
Fully compensate the few exam weeks which I got no time for shooting. HaHa!
Now, I'm busy with editing, gonna gone crazy...too many photos to edit.
Chinese New Year is around the corner, is time to turn on my CHINESE NEW YEAR mood!!!

This year is quite special for me, I went back my grandparent's home every year since I was born, but this year is the first year I didn't go back and I'll going to Genting with my dear. That's great. Enjoyable new year...wahahahaha!
I hope can take a lot of photos for sharing and this time I can go into the casino. This is my first time..so excited!! xD

The end of First Semester - Holiday

I finished my exam and NOW IS TIME TO RELEASE STRESS again!! :P
I've been suffer few weeks ago because of my exam >.<
I'm not wish to get a very good result, but at least pass all! PLEASE GOD =.=

Thanks to my study group which invite me to joined them, and I learned a lot from there.
That's a great study group, everyone share their opinion and reading. Therefore, we are saving time to read a lot of research.
Such a great way to learning from each other. :)

Now in HOLIDAY MOOD, and HOLIDAY TIME...
but my planning is empty!!
What to do? Where to go?
I had no idea >.<

My second semester will start at February 14, which is Valentine's day =.=
People busy to celebrate with their couple but I'm busy with my study lolx..
Anyway, is time to planning for my SHOOTING with a ENJOYABLE HOLIDAY :)

【WeSPC】 New Year event

1.1.2011. It's a special day, everyone would celebrating new year, and we are creating an event as well.
We were planned to make 1st of January of each year to be our anniversary. Therefore, we create event every year.
Our event was portrait shooting in Northam Hotel. This is our first time to organized in hotel. Everything was going smoothly.

I only took some of the photos and do not take much as usual, because I have to guide members and take care of the model posing and her stuff.

New Year eve

How do I celebrate New Year eve?
I was celebrating with WeSPC members who came from KL, and my dear as well.
I have to say sorry to my dear because I'm unable to accompany her for the night, we just simply stay at Queensbay for countdown.
However, we went Neway in the afternoon. We spend our time there for 2 hours, then we go for dinner with WeSPC members.

After our dinner, we went out for the celebrating our new year. There is an event outside Queensbay to countdown. Therefore, we planned to spend our time there...
By the time we were walked out from Queensbay's door, security was locked the main entrance and open up the small entrance beside the main one. There is crowded because of the unwell system.

I thought that night will has at least 10 minutes fireworks, but unfortunately, the worst of the worst, it's not more than 2 minutes. We are waiting there for the night, because of the fireworks. We set up our tripod and looking for the nice venue to take fireworks...but it is only 2 minutes =.=
I'm failed to take fireworks, because I failed to completely set my setting..

23 December 2010.
I was having a shooting with Elain and Jeena.
I was planning for Christmas shooting for a long time, but due to my schedule problem, so I delayed it to 23th December, which is very close to Christmas.
I knew I'm late to taking photos, but I still don't want to miss the chance.

First, I was thinking of taking photos at Straits Quey, but since I heard some comments said that, the security are not allowed photographer to take photos there unless you paid. The charges is RM500 per hour. Damn crazy charges, who can afford it?
With a photo shooting we have to pay that much? I don't think people will pay them.

Lastly, I changed my plan to shooting at the road side, which is nearby 1st Avenue.
Unfortunately, the weather was not very good, that day was drizzle and luckily it was not heavy. Therefore, we still can taking photos there.
I went to their house to guide them for their clothing and make up. After we get prepared everything, the time was around 10pm.
I was invite 2 of my friends and my dear to join me for the shooting.

It is such a good experience for me, because that night I did not plan much for where to shoot. My mind was thinking shooting at the roadside, that's all.
At the time I pass by Traders Hotel, I saw the decoration is damn nice, yet, it is suit to my theme as well. I go ahead to asked for the permission from the security to shooting inside the hotel. Who knows the security allowed us to took photos inside. Then I quickly go inside and take photos with the decorated Christmas tree. Yet, we bravely asking for shooting inside the restaurant and they allowed as well. LOLxxx... We are lucky because they going to shut down soon, therefore, they allowed us to taking photos inside the restaurant for a few minutes as long as before they shut down. We are damn lucky!! HaHaHaHa...

Gunung Jerai Portrait Shooting • Elaine & ZoZo

19th December, which is a sunny day.
We have planned the shooting for a long time, at first we planned to shoot couple!
Since I feel that now is suitable for shooting paddy, why not we shoot my lady model first?
So I decided to shoot her alone at her hometown which is Alor Setar... and I was invited a friend who is from Sik.
But, wrong estimated I made. The paddy is too immature, and it is not greenish enough.
Not suitable for taking photos....
It is because few weeks ago, there are severe flood! All the paddy was withered...

Due to this incident, so I decided to shoot at Gunung Jerai which located at Gurun.
It is quite a good place for shooting, because the weather is very nice and cool... so models will get tired easily. So that they can easily to perform :)

The models are Elaine and her sister ZoZo.
Although they are new, but they did very good job for the shooting...

Shopping Trip @ KL Cont...

The second day for the trip, we set the alarm at 10.30am. As usual we woke up at 11am =.="
Get prepared everything then I met a friend who reached there earlier.
At first we planned to shop Times Square and Sungei Wang first, but we shops for around 1 to 2 hours we can't even found a cloths that suit us. And we found out this year cloths are not really nice. Most of the shops there are selling "lala" shirts =.=
We doesn't like it. I planned to go Sungei Wang but my friends told me the cloths there are same as here. So I suggest move to Pavillion for lunch. The standards there are too high which is not affordable items for me to shopping there. HaHa

After our lunch, we move on to Fahrenheit. At first I thought it could be very large shopping mall and it's very class. But when I went there a bit disappointed, because the shopping mall is quite small size although it's quite class but not nice for shopping.
I only bought 2 shirts there then move to the next, which is Lot 10.
Long time never been there already.
We bought quite a number of shirt there, but looks not enough for my dear =.=
So, we planned to go Mid Valley at night time.
We went back to hotel around 6pm, take a rest, and we moving at 6.30pm.
Since we don't know how to go Mid Valley, so we decided to go by Monorail.
This is the first time I went out by Monorial and KTM.
From our station to Mid Valley, we have to go to the end of the station, and take KTM to Mid Valley.
When we take KTM and Monorial, I found out such a huge different. Monorial is not that much people as compared to KTM. KTM are full with foreign workers and yet, we can't even move a step inside the KTM. That's why thief likes to crime at KTM, because he or she will not aware because everyone is pushing =.=
This is the first time and I think it would be my last time to take KTM.

When we reaached Mid Valley, we go for a short break then go for dinner and shopping afterword. We bought quite a lot shirt there as well.
We went back to hotel by Taxi, since everyone are fear with the KTM already. HaHa.
BUT, Taxi is not a great choice too. -,-"
The taxi driver go so damn fast and keep very very short and tight distance to the car at the front. We even get over Lamborghini, you can imagine how fast it is.
Even I was in phone chatting with my dad, but I can't concentrate because of the driver drove damn risky.
Luckily we are alive and reached hotel. We pay for RM20 for the taxi fees.
Second day gone~

When we came to the third day, I were planned to go China Town nearby my hotel, but they said there are nothing at day time. So I suggested to go Sunway Pyramid.
Sunway is a great shopping mall for shopping. I bought a lot although I planned not to buy any cloths =.="
Yet, my dear keep on asking me to take photos with her with the "大头贴" machine.
Lastly, I've been persuaded to take photos with her, but we got no idea how to function the machine, since we never tried before and everything are in Japanese. Totally cannot understand.
After you activated, you have left around 10 seconds to choose the outlines then it will take photos already. We totally don't know how to function the machine, lolx.
We just simply take few poses with the output....

HaHa, Funny?? Yes, it is. xDD

Finished shopping, we came back at around 4pm.
Such a mad shopping for two of us.
These are our rewards for 3 days non-stop shopping. xDD

Shopping Trip @ KL

Such a crazy shopping season for me and my dear.
We purposely went KL for shopping and both of us spend around 2k for shopping =.=
It was a 3 days 2 nights trip, we stay at Cube Hotel which is recommended by my friend, VP.
Thank you so much to recommended such a nice hotel for me.
It is a budget boutique hotel which located at Jalan Pudu somewhere near Times Square, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavillion, and the new shopping mall, Fahrenheit as well. These shopping malls are waling distance, so that we don't have to suffer HOW TO GO and TRAFFIC JAM problems.

We started our journey at around 1.30pm, and we reached around 5pm.
Btw, I totally no idea how to go to our hotel, and luckily our powerful GPS helps us to reached there. Thanks to it. HaHa
My planning was the first day are not going to shopping, and I'm going to meet my friends at Klang who are Benny and CK.
We planned to have dinner (Bak Kut Teh which famous at Klang) together then follow them to i-City to taking some photos.
Unfortunately, my GPS was something wrong with it. Keep on giving wrong direction for me or respond too slow sometimes. So I'm headache how do I reach there? and what time I can reach there?
After that, I called Benny, and he ask us to go Jusco which nearby, and he come and fetch us.
While waiting for them come to us, we took some photos with the Christmas tree's decoration accessories.

and luckily, we able to having our Bak Kut Teh at 9.xxpm, and the shop is actually going to shut down.

After our dinner, we planned to move to the next destination, which is i-City.
I've planned to bring my dear along since I saw the view last week I went KL, because the view is really really nice. The colorful lights with the leafs and trees. Santa Claus and some animals are decorated by the colorful lights as well.
It's a great place for shooting. And of course, we took photos there xD

I did not took a lot view, because I'm lazy to change lens. Yet, it's quite risky to change lens there because there are full with dust.
We go around the i-City and we are going back around 12.xxam.
Luckily, when we went back, the traffic are smooth and my GPS are not go crazy. HaHa
Finally we reached hotel around 1.xxam.

WeSPC KL Event cont...

We woke up at the 6.30am in the morning, it's a tired day.
We went to meet others members at the restaurant somewhere near Benny's house.
After that, we go to fetch our models and go Sekinchan. Our shooting vanue.
There got a very nice view with a paddy field. When we reached, I saw some of the photographers were shooting the landscape there as well. But our club is going there for shooting models. HaHa

This is our first time to organized modeling shooting event at KL, so we are going KL for helping them.
The event was gone very smooth and everything was fine.
Unfortunately, I fell into the groove, but luckily it is not deep, so me and my camera are save.. xD

Since I'm going there to helping them, so I do not took a lot photos. It's about 20+ only.

After that, we are looking for a hut, but at the end they failed to get it.
So we go for lunch and we are going back to Penang.

WeSPC KL event

4th December, Saturday.
Me. Michael and Icezz went KL by Michael's car.
We get prepared 7am and fetch everyone then we went for breakfast at somewhere near my house with Michael's wife. Finished our breakfast then we drop his wife, then we started our KL trip.

Around 12pm we reached KL, we planned to go KLCC and wait for Benny take us to PWTC Motor Show. But the problem is 3 of us no one knows how to go KLCC, and the worst is I thought my phone installed Garmin, but I sent my phone to repair and they format it. I lost my GPS. Fortunately, Icezz's phone installed Garmin and we ware using the GPS to reached KLCC. Luckily we can reached because her phone was out of battery. =.=

We went KLCC shopping and have lunch. KLCC decorated their mall with a great X'mas theme. I saw a lot of tourist were taking photos there.

After have lunch, we walk around KLCC and wait for Benny's call. We have to follow him to PWTC since we don't know how to go =.=
Around 3.30pm, Benny came but we don't know how to meet him since KLCC is too many ways to go in and out. He called us to wait him at the main enterance but we don't know how to go. So we just stay there and wait for him to join us. Unfortunately, he unable to found us.
At the end, we planned to go somewhere and meet, but we ware lost at town area. We stay besides the road and saw a hotel, we called him to meet us at the hotel.
Finally, we meet up. The next destination is PWTC, Motor Show 2010.
We reached there about 4.xxpm and VP was waiting us there. He bought ticket for us so that we don't have to waste time for long queue.
We wait for Amy to join us then we enter into the hall. This is a really huge event for car show. There is a lot cars modified and decorated to a special edition. This is my first time been there and my first time to went a huge car show as this.
It is seperate into few halls, so we go through 1 by 1.
Other than car, there are a lot of pretty models, and there is a lot photographers as well.

The selling point of the show is not only the cars and models.
It's TRANSFORMER BUMBLEBEE and BATMAN's CAR

They allowed you to take photo with the Transformers Bumblebee and Batman's car, but if you want to take together with its, then you have to pay. How much each I not sure.

When we went to the end of the hall, everybody was tired. No mood to shoot because everybody was hungry and going for our dinner. The time is around 7.xxpm.
Kelvin was waiting us outside for a long time...
We went Klang for seafood dinner, it's delicious. We wait for almost 1 hour for the food, because the shop are famous, a lot of tourist are been there to have their dinner as well. Thanks to Benny bring us to such nice place for dinner.
Next, we went back to Benny's house. We stay at his house that night. Thanks again to Benny to provided us a nice place overnight.

The next morning (6th December) we have to prepare for WeSPC's event.
We chit chat until 1.xxam then sleep together, and we woke up at 6.30am in the morning. Such a tired day.

My First Macro

First of all, I have to thanks to Lalat King for the invitation to join his group for macro outing at Youth Park.It's a great experience to join those pros for outing and I learned a lot from them. They are very friendly, they tough me a lot skills to shoot.

I went there few times for shooting, but I never found any insects or bugs. Then I notice searching for insects need skill as well.
Their eyes are very sharp, they can scan through a lot macro even though at higher level than they can see. I have to learn a lot from them!!

This is my first time for macro shooting...
The photos I shoot might not be very well as compared to those pros...HaHa!

Wish to have more outing and learn more from those sifu again... :)

Time to Release Stress

WoW, such a long time I've been pressure because of my assignment!
Finally today is the due date, although I know another subject's assignment is coming,
at least let me to rest for few days to editing my photos and hang out with friends.
Such a long time never edit photos =.=

I will going to KL next month, it is a WeSPC event.
We go there is just helping them for the event.
I'm going there for my holiday :P
Hope can take some nice photos from this trip!

Stressful...

Stress! Stress!! STRESS!!!
Assignment due date is closer and closer, but my process is so slow!
I was started to worried whether I can pass up on time or not.
3 ASSIGNMENTs in my hand, and no one was done...haiz!!

Previous assignment we can get the information from lecturer note, but now have to get it by ourself without short notes given by lecturer. Everything have to go through Internet and get the references without copying. I'm suffering with the references! 1 assignment at least 20 references, OMG!!

Btw, luckily my dear was helping me to summarize my notes and typing inside into the computer. Thanks a lot dear.

Hope to finished it early and far away from stress!! >.<

Khoo Kongsi

18th October. Once again, WeSPC's event for shooting model.
This times we was shooting at Khoo Kongsi. This is the first time I've been there.
Such a famous place in Penang.
If you travel to Penang, this is one of the great place to visit that you can not miss!

There are some photos I would like to share!
Actually I do not take much photos for scenery, because the purpose I've been there is for shooting model.

This activity has 9 participants. Thanks for everyone coming to our event.
There is some misstake, because model's clothing is out of my expectation.
Models are wearing too modern, but I wish to take the retro type of photos. Which looks more old fashion style. It's looks a bit wired to take modern style at Khoo Kongsi. HaHa!

Anyway, the pretty and charming models are friendly and thanks for their participate as well. Although they are not much experience at shooing, but I knew that they did their best.
I'm the admin, my job is actually not to taking photos, but have to take care of the models. But I can not control myself when taking my camera without pressing the shutter. Such a difficult mission for me! HaHa. However, I only took a few photos to satisfied myself.
Maybe I'll go back to Khoo Kongsi and shoot again, because it's a nice place for shooing.

Siong Ho Restaurant

At first I have to say sorry to Siong Ho Restaurant and Criz, because I was delay to upload it to my blog. Sooooo sorry about that.

Siong Ho Fish Head Bee Hoon & Porridge is located at Weld Quay, which is nearby jetty. I was invited by my friend, and this is my first time to shooting food as well. I got no experience to shooting product.
Normally, I always shooting either portraits or landscape. This is my first time to shoot food. It's a great experience, and I wish to have more food shooting coming soon.

It's my favorite! Other than that, the bee hoon and porridge are delicious too. Although I not really like porridge and bee hoon, but I ate a lot too!! HaHa!

Canon Marathon

17th October, CANON MARATHON!! Such a tired but enjoyable day.
I met some friends at Sg. Pinang restaurant at 6.30am to having our breakfast. It was a rainy day, the rain has started when we were having breakfast. Luckily the rain is not heavy and wait for another 10 to 15 minutes the rain was stopped.
Then go to register for the Marathon which located at Tanjong City Marina, Penang.

I feel that the system for this event is really very good, they was a lot of experience to run this kind of event, so that the event going very smooth.
At first, we thought we have to wait or queue for at least 30 minutes for registration, but when we was reached there, I saw a lot participants those with red shirt, but the queue is not really long, when I was go in then I know why.
That is because there got a lot of counter there, and good enough to serve those participants for registration. It's doesn't take time for us to queue and wait...
Because for my past experience, this kind of event we have to wait so a very long time! And the event will not running up on time.
They did very well on their system.

They started briefing at 9 o'clock on time, and announce the first theme!
Which is EYE ON EOS.
The event was started at 9.15am.
Unfortunately, it was raining at that time. So all the participants had no choise to stay there and wait for the rain going to be stop.

While waiting, we was trying to take some shot..
This idea is come from my friends,

This is one of the creative way to shoot. After some time, I saw other participants was copying our idea to shoot the same thing with us. In order to avoid some similar works to summit, so we decided to try it outside.

The funny things is the whole marathon we not really walk or run,
all the location we are went by car..!
At first we are shooting at the esplanade, somewhere around the garden.

And the next, we move on to the Theme 2, which have to registered before 12pm at Segafredo Upper Pennag Road. Majority of them was walking, but we was going by car.
SO SHAME..
The second theme was HUMANITY.
The time was 12.xxpm and we decided to go for lunch first and plan where to get the shot for humanity.
We was having our lunch at Chulia Street, and we decided to shoot at Kuan Yin Tample.
I not really get a nice shot there, and I also took a few photos only.

Theme 3 will be announced at 3pm, because of we all yet to get a great shot, so we move on there earlier to get some shot there..
Theme 3 announce at the Canon Boutique, Burma Road. The theme title is DELICIOUS.
At first, I was thinking what is delicious? What make us feel delicious?
As I know a lot peoplpe will going to Cendol nearby, so we are not choosing there.
Next, we are going to having the coconut nearby, and going to KFC and wish to get some shot there. I not dare to take photos there is because I scared they may complain. HaHa! I just went there for a rest.
I was looking at those photos I photographs, and I notice one of it can be my delicious theme.

I'm tired thinking of create works, so I just summit this.

My stupid friends cannot get shot, and they asking me to be their model with their idea. Which is EAT BANANA!! Damn it!
They wanted me to help them for eat the banana! They went to New World Park and bought a banana cost them RM0.60, they want me to be their model! OMG!!!
I got no choice to reject, and let them shoot... >.<
Such a bad model! lolx....
After they get some shot, and everyone is tired to shoot, and we decided to go summit our photos and go back to have a rest.

The result is announced at the night, 8pm.
I went there 8pm but the result was announced at 11.xxpm. It's takes time for those judge to decide the winner.
Those prices is giving away for those who already got a high gear cameras.
1D Mark IV is giving away to the guy who using 1D Mark IV,
5D Mark II is giving away to the guy who using 5D Mark II... lolx! UNFAIR! xDD

Anyway, I never wish to get any prices, but wish to get some experience and learn from others. This is my point to participate.
And I know some friends over there, good to know them, they are very professional photographers. :)

Pressure is coming around me

I've been school for a week in KDU.
I began to feel the pressure, because most of the classmate, they was very serious in class and they pay full attention to the lecturer although that is a boring subject.
And I will feel boring and tired for those boring subject and I only pay attention for those subject I like >.<

Keele University is not really direct question and answer, they want us to think and wide knowledge to answer their question. Such a different way compared to last time I was in TARC.
And Keele need a lot of research, reading, and knowledge. A subject to read few books, and lecturer said that 1 or 2 books is not enough for us. This is the style of the foreign.

THE PRESSURE IS COMING TO ME.

In the other way, I feel happy is because I know some other friends,
and I notice a lot friends is from TARC as well.
In our Finance class, there is more than 30 person, such a big class! And the compulsory subject is together with Marketing and HR course as well.
That would be more than 40 person in a class.

I wish in these coming years in KDU can get a great result, and at least don't failed any subject in my exam. Should study hard from now!!

My New Life in KDU

Since I graduated from TARC, I was rest for few months never study. Feel like a little bit rusty already, HaHa.
Anyway, 27 September is the first day in KDU, and that was orientation. Err, actually nothing special, just a normal briefing and bring us around the KDU collage.
It's not like TARC orientation, for TARC it was one week orientation and a lot games involving, but KDU is not.

NOW, I have to get ready to start my new life in KDU.
Wish can have a memorable degree with a flying colours result.

21th Birthday Celebration

I'm not frequent to celebrate with a birthday party, this year is still the same.
I was celebrate with my dear, and we have a quite romantic and nice dinner at Tao Auto City.
My dear was booked the table for that night.

We ordered a good variety of different food, and those food are delicious.

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

22rd September, it was Mid-Autumn Festival.
I was hanging out with some buddies at somewhere near gurney for playing around with the lantern, and I was bring my dear along as well.
I did not celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival at before year as well, this year is special because of my friends inviting me to join them for playing with the lantern.
At first, I went to a studio, which is 'win-win' studio to meet some friends and a lot of friends was enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival there.

And the next, we are going to Gurney Drive, but unfortunately, when we reached there, it was raining. We got no choise to move to Coffee Island for a rest.
God always like to play us, when we was resting there and the rain was stopped.
So we just went there for a drinks, after about an hour we going out to celebrating our Mid-Autumn Festival.

Around 12 something, everybody was tired and my dear got early class at the next day.
So we decided to go back early.
When we came back, my dear was told me she dint buy any present for me, thats fine.
I told her before, don't waste money to buy anything for me.
And she keep on calling me for bath! Ok! fine..
After the bath, she get me the present, I'm surpriced that she bought me the present..
It was a money clip which I plan to buy it but yet to buy.
Thats a SURPRICE. Although I like the present, but I still feel that it is wasting my dear's money >.<

I'm not familiar with writting blog, but I would like to write down the things I have experienced, so I was started to write blog.

At first, I have to introduce myself first.
I am a sporty man, I like sports! Like basketball, I like the most :P
and the next will be badminton, swimming, volleyball as well.
Other than sports, I like shooting as well.
Anyway, I'm just a newbie and I have to learn a lot to improve my skills...
and I wish to get some outstanding photos in my life...

I'm a 21 years old man, and I'm still studying.
I was just graduated from TARC this year for my diploma, and I will continue my study in KDU for degree as well.
My degree is going to start at the end of this month, which is 27th of this month.
